Hammered Glass Frosted
Hammered frosted glass is fabricated in a dual process. First, molten glass is pressed into a mould for an irregular, hammered texture. The patterned surface is then uniformly abraded by sandblasting or acid etching, creating a matte, granular finish that diffuses light and transforms the glass into a soft, translucent material.
This seamless 4K PBR texture combines a detailed normal map for the hammered relief with a high roughness value for the frosted effect. It accurately simulates how the granular surface scatters light across its undulating topography. Designed for privacy glazing, shower screens, and decorative applications, it provides a material that balances textural detail with soft translucency.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
These dimensions serve as guidance, ensuring realism and consistency. All assets are encouraged to be used flexibly and can be scaled accordingly to suit different scales or art-directed scenarios.
