Faux suede is fabricated using synthetic microfibres, typically polyester, woven or knitted into a dense base, then chemically treated and mechanically brushed (napped) to create a soft, short pile. The surface features a finely textured, velvety nap in uniform tones, established by the precision brushing process. This specialised finishing delivers a soft, pliable hand and a distinct light-absorbing, matte appearance.
This Faux Suede was curated by hand, selected specifically for its finely textured nap and rich, even color saturation that impart soft, inviting tactile depth. Utilising state-of-the-art PBR capture methodologies, the textile’s fibrous nuances and inherent characteristics are accurately digitised, then meticulously post-processed and tiled for seamless continuity. Validated across various lighting conditions, this PBR asset ensures true-to-life fidelity for your detailed upholstery renders and high-fidelity close-ups.
