Gloss Lacquered Oak Wood Warm Fog
Gloss lacquering coats prepared oak veneer in successive thin layers of pigmented lacquer, each cured to a hard, solid finish before the next is applied. Left unfilled, the coat sits over the timber's own structure rather than burying it, so oak's open pores and fibre lines remain present as physical relief beneath the colour. The lacquer controls sheen and seals the surface, while the grain underneath stays exactly as the wood grew it.
These PBR texture maps carry that same relationship: normal and clearcoat data trace the oak's fibre relief beneath the pigment rather than describing a smooth, filled film, so reflections break across the grain as they do on the physical finish. Made for use across furniture and contemporary interior visualisation, the set is validated across lighting conditions.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
These dimensions serve as guidance, ensuring realism and consistency. All assets are encouraged to be used flexibly and can be scaled accordingly to suit different scales or art-directed scenarios.
