Flint Gray Milky Glass Frosted
Milky glass, or opal glass, is formed by introducing opacifiers into molten glass, where suspended particles scatter light internally. A secondary acid etching or sandblasting process creates a uniform, non reflective frosted finish, which further diffuses light and enhances the material's soft, luminous appearance.
This seamless 4K PBR material captures the glass's dual qualities, rendered in a curated Flint Gray hue. It simulates internal light scattering with a high subsurface scattering weight, while a high roughness value creates the external frosted finish. Designed for lighting fixtures and decorative objects, it provides an authentic, multilayered translucency with a soft, uniform glow.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
These dimensions serve as guidance, ensuring realism and consistency. All assets are encouraged to be used flexibly and can be scaled accordingly to suit different scales or art-directed scenarios.
