Felt is fabricated by applying heat, moisture, and pressure to natural or synthetic fibres, irreversibly matting and entangling them, forming a dense, non-woven textile. The uniform surface reveals a tightly compressed, non-directional texture, rooted in the interlocking of individual fibres. This structural density delivers excellent acoustic properties and a matte, monolithic visual character.
This Designer Felt was curated by hand, selected specifically for its high fibre density and uniform composition that offer exceptional tactile realism. Utilising state-of-the-art PBR capture methodologies, the textile’s fibrous nuances and real-world characteristics are accurately digitised, then meticulously post-processed and tiled for seamless continuity. Validated across various lighting conditions, this texture set offers a true to life representation optimised for acoustic panels and contemporary design visualisations in a sophisticated Burgundy palette.
