Cotton Velveteen Fabric
Cotton Velveteen is fabricated as a woven tufted textile where extra weft yarns are introduced, cut, and subsequently brushed to produce a short, dense pile. Its surface features an extremely soft, uniform nap and a muted sheen, rooted in the careful shearing and brushing of the cotton fibres. The pile structure forms a substantial fabric with a plush hand and rich, directionally dependent tonal shading.
This Cotton Velveteen was curated by hand, selected specifically for its dense, low pile and rich directional shading, offering exceptional definition for soft furnishings. Utilising state-of-the-art PBR capture, the textile’s fibrous nuances and physical characteristics are accurately digitised. Meticulously post-processed and tiled, this ensures seamless continuity and pixel-level map detail. Validated across various lighting conditions, this texture set is optimised for realistic digital drapery and high-fidelity close-ups in interior renderings.
