Suede leather is crafted by buffing the inner corium layer of an animal hide, forming a pliable material with a characteristic soft, napped texture. Its tactile face reveals a fine, fibrous pile rooted in the exposed split-grain fibres. This sanding process raises and separates the collagen structure, establishing a uniform, matte finish. The deep saturation of the petrol tone interacts directly with the directional pile, causing the tonal depth to shift measurably under varying light angles.
This Suede was sourced by hand, selected specifically for its uniform pile and Petrol palette that establish a distinct visual depth. Utilising state-of-the-art PBR capture methodologies, the hide's surface nuances are accurately digitised, post-processed, and tiled for seamless continuity. Validated across various lighting conditions, this texture set delivers a true-to-life representation optimised for upholstery visualisations and material close-ups.
