Wool Tweed Fabric
Wool Tweed fabric is fabricated using coarse, irregular, and often multi-hued wool yarns, typically woven in a plain or twill structure, forming a dense, hard-wearing textile. The rugged surface reveals a highly textured, speckled appearance with nuanced tonal variations, rooted in the use of unevenly spun, carded wool. This dense construction delivers exceptional thermal properties and a distinctive, rustic visual character suitable for heavy upholstery.
This Wool Tweed was curated by hand, selected specifically for its resilient, dense weave and complex, flecked composition, imparting rich, authentic tactile depth. Utilising state-of-the-art PBR capture, the textile’s fibrous nuances and physical attributes are accurately digitised, then meticulously post-processed and tiled for seamless continuity and pixel-level map detail. Validated across various lighting conditions, this true-to-life representation is optimised for heritage-themed renders and high-fidelity close-ups.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
