Pebbled leather is crafted by tumbling hides in large drums during the tanning phase, forming a resilient, textured material. Its tactile surface reveals a distinctive raised, dimensional grain, rooted in the natural contraction and loosening of the hide's fibres. This tumbling process restructures the corium layer, establishing a supple hand and a pronounced surface relief.
This Pebbled Leather was sourced by hand, selected specifically for its pronounced, irregular grain and orange hue that impart a distinctive tactile character. Utilising state-of-the-art PBR capture methodologies, the hide's surface nuances are accurately digitised, post-processed, and tiled for seamless continuity. Validated across various lighting conditions, this texture set delivers a true-to-life representation optimised for product renders and upholstery visualisations.
