Copper Dichroic Mirror Glass
Dichroic or mirrored glass is fabricated via a high tech vapour deposition process where microscopic layers of metallic oxides are fused onto a glass substrate in a vacuum. These layers interfere with light waves, reflecting specific colours while transmitting others, creating a mirrorlike, iridescent finish that shifts with the viewing angle.
This seamless 4K PBR material simulates the complex surface using a physically based `Coat` layer over a transparent base, with the `Coat Colour` calibrated to a rich Copper hue. It captures the vibrant metallic sheen and colour shifting properties, while subtle photo derived imperfections add realism. Ideal for architectural facades, high fashion eyewear, and artistic lighting, this material authentically models angle dependent colour and light behaviour.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
These dimensions serve as guidance, ensuring realism and consistency. All assets are encouraged to be used flexibly and can be scaled accordingly to suit different scales or art-directed scenarios.
