Lacquered Oak Wood Deep Teal
Lacquered oak begins with the timber sanded smooth, then coated in successive thin layers of pigmented lacquer, each cured hard before the next is applied. Left unfilled, the coat sits over oak's open pores and ring-porous grain rather than levelling them, so the fibre structure remains present as real relief beneath the solid colour. The result is an evenly pigmented surface that still carries the timber's own texture underneath it.
These PBR texture maps carry that relationship forward: the relief and clearcoat data trace oak's pore structure beneath the pigment rather than describing a smooth, filled film, so reflections break across the grain the way they do on the physical finish. Made for furniture and contemporary interior design, the set has been validated across lighting conditions.
