Oiled Ash Wood Cranberry
Oiled ash begins as sanded solid or veneered timber, worked with a penetrating oil that soaks into the open pores rather than sitting on top as a film, leaving the surface matte and tactile with the grain still raised faintly to the touch. Ash takes this treatment with its characteristically straight, sometimes wavy grain, the oil deepening the timber's tone slightly while leaving its natural figure fully visible. A pigment carried in the oil adds solid colour without masking the underlying grain structure, so the wood's texture reads through the finish rather than under it.
These PBR texture maps carry that pigmented, oil-sunk surface with the grain relief held in the normal and height data and the finish's low, even sheen in the roughness map, so the raised fibre pattern stays coherent under changing light rather than reading as a flat colour layer. Made for use across furniture visualisation and contemporary interior design, the set is validated across lighting conditions.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
These dimensions serve as guidance, ensuring realism and consistency. All assets are encouraged to be used flexibly and can be scaled accordingly to suit different scales or art-directed scenarios.
