Lacquered MDF Bordeaux
Medium-density fibreboard is manufactured by binding fine wood fibres with resin under heat and pressure into a dense, uniform board with no grain structure running through it. For this lacquered finish, the sanded MDF surface is coated in successive layers of pigmented lacquer, each cured to a hard film before the next is applied. Because the substrate carries no fibre grain or pores, the lacquer settles into an even, level film across the panel rather than following any underlying texture.
These PBR texture maps carry that smooth, closed surface through the normal and roughness data, while the included clearcoat layer reproduces the even lacquer reflections that form over the flat fibreboard base. Made for use across high-end furniture, cabinetry, and contemporary interior visualisation, the set is validated across lighting conditions.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
These dimensions serve as guidance, ensuring realism and consistency. All assets are encouraged to be used flexibly and can be scaled accordingly to suit different scales or art-directed scenarios.
