Flint Gray Milky Glass
Milky glass, or opal glass, is formed by introducing opacifiers into the molten mixture. These suspended microscopic particles create a translucent medium that scatters light internally, producing a soft, luminous appearance. This diffusion creates a characteristic milky glow from a smooth, polished surface, making the material translucent.
This seamless 4K PBR material simulates the internal light scattering defining opal glass, rendered in a curated Flint Gray hue. A polished, reflective surface is paired with a soft, luminous interior by using a high subsurface scattering weight and zero transmission. Tailored for designer lighting fixtures, decorative objects, and luxury packaging, it provides authentic translucency with a characteristic soft glow.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
These dimensions serve as guidance, ensuring realism and consistency. All assets are encouraged to be used flexibly and can be scaled accordingly to suit different scales or art-directed scenarios.
