Large arc fluted glass is produced by pressing or blowing molten glass into a mould with wide, concave grooves. This process imparts a repeating textural pattern that distorts light and obscures views. The mould also transfers fine, parallel tooling marks, an authentic characteristic of its manufacture.
This seamless 4K PBR material uses a detailed normal map to accurately portray the specific concave profile of the large arc flutes. It correctly simulates the silky shimmer of anisotropic reflections stretching across the fine directional marks, a key feature of this material.
