Oiled Ash Wood Pewter
Oiled ash wood is finished by working penetrating oil into sanded timber, where it soaks into the open pores and hardens to a low-sheen film that sits within the grain rather than over it. Ash's straight, occasionally wavy grain remains fully visible beneath the finish, with the oil deepening its natural tone slightly rather than masking it. A pigment carried in the finish tints the timber without concealing its fibre structure.
These PBR texture maps preserve that open-pore character: the normal and roughness data hold the ash's natural grain relief and low, oil-modulated sheen rather than describing a levelled or filled surface. Suited to furniture visualisation, wooden decor, and contemporary interior design, the set is validated across lighting conditions.
Optimized for Metallic/Roughness workflows. (Note: For Specular/Glossiness workflow, simply invert the Roughness map inside your render engine).
