Saffiano leather is shaped by pressing hide with heated metal plates, forming a firm, compressed structure. Its surface reveals a distinct diagonal crosshatched texture, established by this mechanical stamping process that compresses the natural grain. A protective wax treatment seals the hide, introducing a subtle sheen and a uniform tactile profile.
This Saffiano leather was sourced by hand, selected specifically for its precise embossed crosshatch and Light Brown palette that impart a defined geometric character. Utilising state-of-the-art PBR capture methodologies, the hide's surface nuances are accurately digitised, post-processed, and tiled for seamless continuity. Validated across various lighting conditions, this texture set delivers a photorealistic representation optimised for product renders and material close-ups.
